Pokémon Is Coming to Disney+: Deal Includes New Stop-Motion Series, Original Animated Show

Disney+ and The Pokémon Company International have established a global distribution deal. This partnership includes a new stop-motion series titled Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d Pichu, scheduled to debut on Disney+ and Disney XD in 2027. This agreement follows the recent launch of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning on Disney XD, which serves as the first title released under this new global arrangement, bringing original animated content and stop-motion series to the streaming platform.
