Tremont woman dies after medical event in Otis pond

Two separate fatalities occurred in local ponds. The Hancock County Sheriff's Office reported that a Tremont woman died after appearing to suffer a medical event while in the water at Beech Hill Pond. Additionally, a 17-year-old died after drowning in a pond located in Fall River. Both incidents resulted in deaths, with the first case involving a medical emergency during the event and the second involving a teenager in a different location.
