Possible murder-suicide by fire investigated in Nashua after 2 killed

State and local officials are investigating an early morning fire that occurred around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at 19 Orange St. in Nashua. The blaze claimed the lives of two male residents. One of the deceased individuals appears to be 80-year-old Gerald Gutekunst, who had previously faced arson charges related to a 2019 fire in Hudson. Authorities are currently treating the incident as a possible murder-suicide by fire while the investigation continues into the tragedy.
