‘Power Rangers’ Live-Action Series Not Moving Forward At Disney+

Disney+ is not proceeding with its planned live-action Power Rangers series. The project was in development for approximately eighteen months with 20th Television serving as the studio. Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, the executive producers and showrunners of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, were previously attached to write and executive produce the series. Consequently, the live-action adaptation has been scrapped by the Disney streamer, ending the collaboration with the attached creative team for this specific project.
