PlayStation to Launch New Crunchyroll Anime Hub for PS5

Sony's PlayStation will introduce a dedicated Crunchyroll anime hub on the PlayStation 5 home screen starting in spring 2027. Confirmed by Hideaki Nishino at the Crunchyroll Anime Future Forum, this initiative aims to align anime projects with anime-inspired games. The integration recognizes the overlapping communities of anime and gaming, designed to make it easier for the PlayStation community to discover and explore the anime content they enjoy directly through the console's main menu interface.
