Singer R Kelly Requests US President Donald Trump To End His 30-Year Prison Sentence For S*x Crimes: Report

Singer R Kelly, also known as Robert Sylvester Kelly, has formally petitioned US President Donald Trump to commute his prison sentence. Convicted in 2021 of leading a criminal enterprise involving sex trafficking and racketeering, the 59-year-old was sentenced to 30 years. Additional convictions in 2022 included child abuse images. His lawyer has lobbied the US president for over a year, filing a request with the Department of Justice to reduce the 31-year total sentence.
