Will Fernando Mendoza get more 1st-team reps with Raiders?

Las Vegas Raiders coach Klint Kubiak is currently consulting with assistant coaches to determine the distribution of first-team reps behind center. This follows the NFL debut of quarterback Fernando Mendoza during a preseason opening loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Mendoza acknowledged that the NFL represents a different level of competition compared to his previous experiences. Consequently, the Raiders are considering increasing Mendoza's opportunities with the first-team offense throughout the remainder of the summer training period.
