Rank Math PRO distributed a backdoor through its official channel in version 3.0.123. The malware was served between 20:02 UTC on October 15 and 07:12 UTC on October 16, a window of approximately eleven hours. This code allows attackers to take full control of affected WordPress sites. The company issued a security notice on October 16, advising users who updated and activated the plugin during this specific timeframe to treat their pages as compromised.
