Dacia to bring popular EV Spring back home to Europe from China - Reuters

Dacia is relocating the production of its popular Spring EV from China to Renault’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia. The second-generation model will maintain a price point below €20,000 before government subsidies. Since 2021, the first-generation Spring, manufactured in China, achieved significant success with over 210,000 units sold across forty different countries. This strategic move brings the manufacturing of the affordable electric vehicle back to Europe to sustain its market competitiveness.
