Report: Alaska Democrats Made Plan to Find Second Dan Sullivan Candidate

Alaska Democrats reportedly developed a strategic plan to recruit a second candidate named Dan Sullivan to compete against Senator Daniel S. Sullivan. This effort involved independent candidate Daniel J. Sullivan Jr., who shares the same name as the Republican Senator. Reports, including one from the New York Times, suggest that this individual was a Democratic plant designed to confuse voters as former Rep. Mary Peltola faces off against the incumbent Senator in the U.S. Senate race.
