RepoSéance: Summoning the Ghost of Forgotten Code with Open-Source AI

Two open-source AI projects developed for Hacktoberfest explore digital legacies. RepoSéance serves as a local-first software archaeology tool designed to reconstruct the history of forgotten GitHub repositories, helping developers revive abandoned code. Simultaneously, Ghost in the Machine offers an immersive web experience blending Halloween and Día de los Muertos. It features a Haunted Terminal and a digital ofrenda, utilizing a simulated local AI model to interact with users through poetic and mysterious communications about the past.
