Republican Representative Moves to Impeach Hegseth for “High Crimes”

Republican Representative Thomas Massie introduced eight articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for high crimes and misdemeanors. Massie alleges Hegseth conducted an unlawful war against Iran without a formal declaration, statutory authorization, or imminent threat, violating the War Powers Resolution of 1973. The resolution further accuses Hegseth of initiating an unlawful war in Yemen and suppressing Senator Mark Kelly's free speech.
