Sen. Dan Sullivan vows to accept Alaska election results if defeated

Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) has committed to accepting the results of the Alaska Senate election, regardless of whether he wins or is defeated by Democratic challenger Mary Peltola. Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, Sullivan affirmed his intent to accept the outcome. This statement follows a Justice Department (DOJ) lawsuit that attempted to invalidate results if Peltola won. Sullivan reiterated his position to host Jake Tapper regarding the upcoming 2026 elections and the democratic process.
