AI Fusion Summary

Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) has endorsed Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) in a closely watched New York race. Golden, a retiring centrist Democrat, called Lawler a true partner, highlighting their bipartisan work on a bill supporting Maine lobstermen. This rare cross-aisle support comes as Golden increasingly bucks his own party. The endorsement is expected to frustrate Democrats who are currently fighting to flip control of the lower chamber during this competitive midterm cycle.
