Glenn Close, Ridley Scott, Floyd Norman, Christine Vachon, Pamela Koffler to Receive Honorary Oscars

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Glenn Close, Sir Ridley Scott, and Disney's first Black animator, Floyd Norman, will receive Academy Honorary Awards. Additionally, Killer Films founders and independent film champions Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler are set to receive the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award. These honors were determined following a vote by the Board, recognizing the significant contributions of these industry veterans during the upcoming Governors Awards ceremony.
