Inside Lioran S3: Rust, RocksDB and the Metadata/Data Plane Split

Lioran S3, developed by Lioran Developer Solutions under Lioran Group and led by Swaraj Puppalwar, separates the metadata plane from the object data plane. Launched October 1, 2026, the architecture ensures object payload bytes never enter RocksDB, which exclusively stores records and state. The filesystem handles raw bytes. GET requests follow a direct path from metadata lookup to async streaming via Tokio, ensuring only committed objects are returned to the user during reads.
