Roketsan Tests Ground-Launched ÇAKIR Cruise Missile Against Land, Sea Targets

Roketsan has successfully conducted the first ground-launch tests of its ÇAKIR cruise missile, targeting both land and sea objectives to enhance coastal defence capabilities. Simultaneously, the U.S. Navy executed Developmental Test 1 at Point Mugu Sea Range, California. During this two-day operation, the Harpoon Coastal Defense System, managed by the PMX-201 Strike Weapons Program Office, successfully launched a Harpoon missile from land to strike a target vessel located in near-shore waters.
