Russian missile and drone barrage hits Kyiv suburbs, killing 1

Russia launched a major overnight missile and drone attack on Ukraine, killing one person near Kyiv and damaging homes and energy sites. Ukraine’s Emergency Service said on Sunday that responders rescued eight people, including a child, from rubble in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district. The attacks also damaged energy infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Ukraine's air force said it shot down 12 cruise missiles and over 20 Shahed drones.
