Russian satellite stalked ICEYE spacecraft in potentially dangerous on-orbit maneuvers

The Russian satellite Cosmos 2612 performed potentially dangerous on-orbit maneuvers by stalking the US-flagged ICEYE-X36 spacecraft. According to LeoLabs, the Russian spacecraft moved from hundreds of kilometers away to extreme proximity, coming within 500 meters of the target. The ICEYE-X36 satellite is believed to be providing support to Ukraine. This incident involved the Cosmos 2612 closing the distance significantly to maintain a position of extreme proximity to the operational satellite during these maneuvers.
