School District 2’s Daylis Stadium in Billings underwent major renovations in 2025, reopening as Sam McDonald Stadium at Daylis on 8-29-26 for the high school football season. The $14.9 million facility's grand opening featured a parade around Pioneer Park led by Billings Police Chief Rich St. John and acting Yellowstone County Sheriff Kent O'Donnell. The ceremony included a marching band, student groups, teams, sponsors, and the West High JROTC, with speeches by Gordon Klasna and Mark Sulser.
