Stephen King Movie ‘Desperation’ in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo, Sam Raimi

Searchlight is developing a film adaptation of the 1996 novel Desperation by Stephen King. Directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, known for Final Destination, are in talks to helm the project. The production features Sam Raimi as a producer, marking the first collaboration between horror maestros King and Raimi. This project brings together experienced filmmakers to translate the original literary work into a cinematic experience under the guidance of the Searchlight studio banner.
