Samsung Galaxy Unpacked August 2026: Live updates from the launch of the next S26

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S26 FE at the August 2026 Unpacked event. Priced at $699, this mid-range device functions as a more affordable version of the S26+, offering flagship-level AI features and 2026 software updates despite slightly reduced specifications. While it is described as a budget flagship, some reports suggest that the $700 price point makes it harder to categorize as a bargain compared to previous Fan Edition models, as it strips the S26+ down to basics.
