Observations of bats include Indian flying foxes in Kerala, India, where they were seen flying over trees in Kodiyathur village, Kozhikode district, on February 2, 2022. Additionally, these fruit bats rested on tree branches within a temple complex in Kadambazhipuram village, Palakkad district, on February 3, 2022. In Thailand, bats from a cave near the Wat Khao Chong Phran Temple in Ratchaburi province were documented flying out to search for food at dusk on September 14, 2009.
