JD Vance is the Gorbachev of our time

Vice President JD Vance raised $4.2 million for the Republican Party at an RNC fundraiser in Palo Alto, California. Hosted by Chamath Palihapitiya and John Underwood of Goldman Sachs, the event attracted about two dozen supporters who paid $250,000 each. Attendees included Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. Vance, a former venture capitalist and U.S. senator from Ohio, continues to leverage his strong professional ties to the Silicon Valley tech world.
