ScopeGuard: a scope-creep checker for freelancers that never uploads the client's text

ScopeGuard Local is an open-source, local-first AI tool developed for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge. Designed for freelancers and small digital agencies, it identifies scope creep by comparing new client requests against signed briefs, proposals, or SOW documents. The tool processes text locally to ensure privacy, splitting messages into sentences to calculate similarity scores. It flags unmatched requests and drafts replies that distinguish between agreed-upon tasks and additional work requiring new terms.
