Every October, bats are frequently depicted in horror movies, haunted houses, and Halloween decorations as symbols of danger and darkness. Due to the influence of Dracula and various spooky stories passed through generations, these animals have developed an undeserved reputation as creatures of the night. This narrative frames bats as misunderstood animals that are unfairly associated with fear and the supernatural during the Halloween season, despite their actual nature being far different from these myths.
