Mizzou's Eli Drinkwitz nixes latest job rumors: 'I'm not a candidate at Florida State'

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz has officially denied rumors linking him to the vacant head coaching position at Florida State. On Tuesday, the SEC coach proactively shut down these speculations, explicitly stating that he is not a candidate for the Florida State job. This action follows a previous year where Drinkwitz allowed rumors regarding other schools to persist, but he has now chosen to clarify his status regarding the current opening on his own volition.
