Shakira, Global Citizen, Live Nation, and CAF have committed an initial $1.25 million to rebuild ten schools and a university in Colombia. This follows a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake, the strongest since 1990, which devastated the coffee-growing region. During a visit to Quibdó with Howard Buffett and CAF representatives, Shakira emphasized that children must return to classrooms to secure their futures, mirroring previous commitments made after earthquakes ravaged Venezuela last year.
