Metro names officer involved in southwest Las Vegas Valley deadly shooting

Recent officer-involved shootings have occurred in Las Vegas and Austin. In the southwest Las Vegas Valley, a shooting resulted in the deaths of a man and a young girl, while two others, including a Metropolitan Police Department officer, were injured. Meanwhile, in north Austin near U.S. 290 and Interstate 35, Austin Police issued shelter-in-place orders for residents following a shooting incident on Wednesday morning. Authorities in Las Vegas have since released the name of the officer involved.
