Sheri Herman, Former Executive at E! and American Cybercast, Dies at 71

Sheri Herman, a pioneering cable and digital media executive, died of heart failure on August 6 in Florida at age 71. Born in Philadelphia and a Temple University graduate, she began her career at AC R. Herman played a key role in launching E! Entertainment TV and held executive positions at American Cybercast, TCI for John Malone, and Access Entertainment Network. Her professional trajectory was eventually interrupted by a car accident before her passing.
