Trump says he plans to remove a 15% tariff on Irish whiskey

President Donald Trump announced his plan to remove a 15% tariff on Irish whiskey during the conclusion of a golf tournament in Ireland. This decision follows a previous action in April where Trump lifted certain tariffs on U.K. whiskey, including Scotch and spirits from Northern Ireland. The President stated he is lifting the Irish whiskey tariffs because everybody has been bugging him, effectively addressing a trade imbalance that existed between Ireland and the United Kingdom.
