SlothDesk: Your Local AI File Organizer That Does the Heavy Lifting

SlothDesk and AI File Organizer are local-first AI tools developed for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge. SlothDesk utilizes Qwen to organize messy folders and duplicate files without sending metadata to cloud services. Similarly, AI File Organizer is a Python project using Gemma via Ollama to classify filenames into categories. Both projects aim to automate the tedious task of manually sorting documents, images, and audio files while keeping the user in control of their data.
