A small plane crashed near Bristol on Thursday afternoon with two people on board, as confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration. In a separate incident at Carlisle Airport, a small plane collided with a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter during a training exercise. This collision resulted in the death of the plane's pilot, Dr. Paul Sokoloski, while two state troopers aboard the helicopter sustained injuries.
