‘Smile 3’ Sets David Bruckner to Direct While Franchise Creator Parker Finn Helms ‘Possession’ Remake (EXCLUSIVE)

Paramount has officially put Smile 3 into development, appointing David Bruckner to direct the upcoming horror sequel. Nick Antosca is hired to write the screenplay for the project. Parker Finn, the original creator of the franchise, will transition from directing to a producer role for this installment. Bruckner previously directed the 2022 Hellraiser reboot and a 2017 psychological thriller. This leadership change marks a new creative direction for the series while keeping Finn involved.
