‘SNL’ U.K. Adds Freddie Meredith to Cast

Saturday Night Live U.K. has expanded its cast for the second season by adding comedian Freddie Meredith. Known for his roles in Big Boys and Such Brave Girls, Meredith recently won the best newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe for Need a Light?. He joins returning castmembers Hammed Animashaun and Ayoade. The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 12, featuring Jeff Goldblum as the host for the opening episode of the series.
