MockMate: a free interview coach for [friend's name] that runs on my own laptop

Two developers created custom tools for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge. One built Nightjar, a laptop-based bedtime storyteller for a four-year-old, featuring eight interactive picture tiles like Pim the turtle and Big school. Another developed MockMate, a free interview coach for Ragul. MockMate provides practice questions on Python, Excel, SQL, Power BI, and cloud basics, offering scores, feedback, and sample answers while tracking progress across topics to identify weaknesses for cloud and data analytics jobs.
