The first brand new Spyro the Dragon game in 18 years is being developed by Toys for Bob

Toys for Bob, in collaboration with Microsoft's Activision, is developing Spyro: A Realm Beyond, the first new entry in the franchise in nearly two decades. Scheduled for release in Spring 2027, this original adventure will be available on Game Pass. The game introduces the series' first dragon-flight feature, and Tom Kenny will return to voice the iconic purple dragon. This project marks a significant return for the brand after an 18-year hiatus from new titles.
