Disney and Lucasfilm will release Star Wars: Starfighter and the 50th anniversary edition of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope in Imax 70mm in 2027. The re-release of the 1977 George Lucas film is scheduled for February 19, marking the first time the Star Wars franchise has been presented in this specific format. The upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter title will feature Ryan Gosling and will also be available in Imax 70mm upon its release.
