‘StarCraft 3,’ an Open-World Shooter Game, Coming in 2030; First Look Revealed

Blizzard Entertainment officially revealed a new open-world shooter titled StarCraft during the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony. Technically serving as StarCraft 3, this title marks the first mainline entry in the franchise since StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void was released in 2015. The original StarCraft debuted in 1998. A trailer was showcased during the event, confirming the game's genre shift and establishing a release window for the title, which is scheduled to launch in 2030.
