Valve's aim for a console-like experience with its Steam Machine lands a little too close for comfort as one of the first cases of 'Red Line of Death' comes to light

An early adopter of the 512 GB Steam Machine reported a critical GPU malfunction on launch day, resulting in a black screen. Online users have labeled this hardware failure the Red Line of Death, comparing it to previous Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 issues.
