Strategy Buys More Bitcoin and Retires Nearly 2M STRC Shares

Strategy expanded its bitcoin treasury to 848,250 BTC by acquiring 250 BTC for approximately $21.5 million, as disclosed on October 12, 2026. This purchase followed a teaser from Michael Saylor. Simultaneously, Strategy repurchased $192.4 million of its STRC preferred stock, following a previous $176 million repurchase from the week prior. The company continues to manage its combined U.S. dollar reserves and cash holdings alongside its growing digital asset portfolio and share buyback program.
