Student Voices: Salem student gets her first journalism writing experience at HSJI

Students are gaining valuable journalism writing experience at HSJI. One student from Salem nearly opted out of the program but decided to attend the journalism camp. Meanwhile, Emily Shivley highlighted the benefits of hard work and teamwork during her time at HSJI. Her experience included field reporting in a literal field with horses, which she described as one of the many bright spots of her week during the journalism program.
