SiloFocus: A Zero-Cost, Local AI Study Companion Built for My Sister

Two developers created personalized AI study tools for the Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge. FriendForge was built for a mother learning English to improve vocabulary retention through a Personal AI Study Companion that functions without internet. Meanwhile, SiloFocus was developed for a sister preparing for 12th-grade board examinations. This zero-cost, privacy-first study dashboard integrates a kinetic Pomodoro timer with a local AI tutor to help students manage stress and avoid distractions during intense study sessions.
