‘Succession’ Director Andrij Parekh to Helm ‘The Retrievals,’ Netflix Series About Real-Life IVF Scandal From ‘Maid’ Creator

Emmy-winning Succession director Andrij Parekh will direct two episodes of the upcoming Netflix limited series The Retrievals. Written and executive produced by Maid creator Molly Smith Metzler, the show is adapted from Susan Burton's hit podcast. The plot follows a woman's crusade against a fertility center regarding a real-life IVF scandal. Parekh announced the project during the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, where he discussed his involvement in shooting the new production for the streaming platform.
