The Sui DeFi protocol Full Sail is winding down operations following a security incident linked to the oracle provider Switchboard. An attacker successfully removed approximately $91,000 from three separate vaults during the compromise. This event underscores the critical necessity for robust oracle security within the DeFi ecosystem, as such vulnerabilities can result in significant financial losses and the complete shutdown of protocols. Full Sail has decided to cease all activities as a direct result of this breach.
