Sunshine and record temps return this week

The remains of Isaias brought rain and gusty winds to the Nashville region over the weekend. As the system moves toward the northeast United States, drier conditions and very warm temperatures are expected throughout most of the workweek. Some areas may experience record temperatures, while Alabama could see near-record highs. However, these warm temperatures will not persist for the entire week, following a morning characterized by heavy dew in the affected regions.
