Surprise! Square Enix Has Released A Switch 2 Version Of Star Ocean: The Second Story R

Square Enix has released a Switch 2 version of the action RPG remake Star Ocean: The Second Story R, priced at $49.99 on the eShop. This launch coincides with the 30th anniversary of the sci-fi series. Consistent with other Square Enix ports on Switch 2, this release does not provide an upgrade pathway for existing Switch owners. Additionally, save data from the previous version cannot be transferred to the new Switch 2 version of the game.
