Suspect arrested for Riverside County stabbing attack

Law enforcement officials have arrested two suspects for violent crimes in Riverside County. Gekeith McDuffie, 37, was apprehended following a stabbing attack at the Waterstone Apartments in Murrieta that left a man seriously injured. Separately, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Adolfo Lopez Jr. in Mexico. Lopez Jr. is wanted for a June 28 shooting on Surfside Avenue that resulted in one fatality and another individual being hospitalized for their injuries.
