SXSW to Launch Podcast Festival in 2027

SXSW will launch a dedicated Podcast Festival in 2027, establishing podcasts as a core element alongside Film, TV, Music, Comedy, and the Innovation Conference. Scheduled for March 17-21 in Austin, the event introduces new venue locations and badge options. Due to ongoing renovations at iconic sites, film premieres will shift from Paramount Theatre to ACL Live. These changes include new hubs for music programming as the festival expands one of its fastest-growing programming categories.
