Anthropic says Mythos is too dangerous for the public. It just gave 150 more organisations access.

Anthropic has released Claude Fable 5, its first Mythos-class model available to the general public. This version includes guardrails to block responses in high-risk sectors like biology and cybersecurity. Anthropic states Fable 5 capabilities exceed all previously available models. Meanwhile, the original Mythos model remains restricted due to risks regarding software vulnerabilities and critical infrastructure. Access to Mythos has expanded to approximately 200 organizations across 15 countries to manage these specific security concerns.
